In coordination with the 2009 Hsinchu “The Beauty of the Windy City”Art Festival, August 19th to September 6th, the Cultural Affairs Bureau will hold a humanity arts photographic exhibition at the Hsinchu City art gallery. The exhibition presented the images of foreigners in the friendly confines of Hsinchu city. These images were caught by camera lens and show how these individuals enjoy the people, arts, and technological culture of Hsinchu city. The exhibition will also allow local residents to observe the beauties of the city from a multi-dimensional perspective.
The displayed contents of this exhibition were taken by numerous professional photographers. Other photographs were provided by foreigners themselves, who lives in Hsinchu. Images of these photographs were categorized in six areas: Food, Shopping, Living, Transportation, Education, and Leisure. The exhibition will be shown via the use of multimedia technology. The purpose of this exhibition is to increase foreigner’s awareness and to promote the image of an internationalized city.
The public and photography enthusiasts are encouraged to attend the viewing of this exhibition.
